Yesterday I talked about gratitude, and how it is the single most important key factor in manifesting your life into anything you want - other than Love, obviously. But without gratitude, love doesn't quite carry the same emotional punch. After all, anyone can say that they are grateful for this, that, or the other. But by truly feeling it, from your head down to your soul, it automatically evokes a feeling of love that can be so overwhelming at times that it just doesn't seem real or even possible.
Along with 'grateful' comes of course, 'thankful'. Now these two words can be interchanged at times, but I think that there is a slight difference, but just very slight. At any rate, there is a slight difference to me. And since this is my blog, I think I should just downright say that. Okay, now that I'm off my high horse, we can continue.
Sure, there's a lot I am grateful for, but there is so much that I am thankful for, that I think I will share some of them with you:
I am thankful for my wife, for putting up with me and my eccentricities for the past (almost) 9 years. I could not survive without you, and sadly, you know it.
I am thankful for my job as it gives me money to purchase food, keep a roof over my head, and plenty of humorous situations to laugh about.
I am thankful that I have friends and family that care for me, support me, and laugh at me when I do something stupid.
I am thankful that I am relatively healthy, have all five senses, can walk, can sit up, and type with my hands.
I am thankful that I know how to write, think and speak clearly.
I am thankful for laughter, music, poetry, theater, art, for which if I were missing any of these, my life would be amazingly empty indeed.
I am thankful for my pets that give me unrequited love as long as I give them treats, and laugh at me when I do something stupid.
I am thankful for my sense of humor, without which my life would be amazingly empty indeed.
I am thankful that I get to share this blog with people from all over the world and make a small difference in your lives. For that I am forever thankful.
What are you thankful for?
To your success and mine!
Love,
JC
