Shameless Plug

I admit it. This is indeed a shameless plug. But when you are inspired by one of the most highly sought internet marketing gurus in the known webosphere, what else can you do?

For the past week I have been reacquainted with Ho’oponopono – the ancient Hawaiian healing technique first introduced to me by Dr. Joe Vitale when he was first plugging a new book of his called “Zero Limits” which describes how he was introduced to, and eventually became a student of this ancient art. Dr. Vitale was introduced to a healer by the name of Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len who taught Dr Vitale this amazing technique, and since then the two men have produced a few – and very few – seminars together, the last one called, of course, Zero Limits III. This was to be the last time that Dr Joe and Dr Hew Len would put on this kind of a seminar, and for obvious reasons Dr. Joe Vitale recorded for posterity and to sell it as a 6-DVD training video.

In order to make it more accessible to the masses, Dr. Vitale has created a new online version which he is plugging by providing three 20 minute videos of the essence of that very special seminar. For most people, those three videos will be enough to gain a very good understanding of the modernized version of Ho’oponopono. These videos are the ones I have watched several times now, and I must say with the help and wisdom I have found through them, I feel a tremendous shift in my life.

With that being said, I was inspired by the wisdom shared in these videos, and a slogan popped in my head

 

I have to reiterate, this idea was inspired by the training. It is not affiliated with Dr. Joe Vitale or Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. I created the slogan and image myself.

A Sense of Zero

I have a renewed faith in myself since rediscovering the magic that is Ho'oponopono. I cannot say enough about how truly empowering - and at the same time it is almost humbling in nature. The best word I can find to describe what I feel is "clear".

For the first time in a very long time I have a clarity of thought and a true sense of peace.

I feel a shift - you might say altered, but that sounds too drastic - shifted is the word I want to use.

Up until very recently, my mind has been looking, searching for answers - turning over whatever it can find, like a scavenger of sorts. My mind always pushing my emotional buttons with questions like, "Why is this happening?" "Why am I not happy?" "Where are my true friends?" "What happens from here?"

It would be easy to say that my thoughts evoked many emotions, but the truth of the matter is these thoughts really only evoke one thing: Fear.

From fear, other emotions are masked, but they are all fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear of being alone. Fear of not being good enough. And many others.

Those fears no longer control me. I no longer subscribe to their mythology.

Because the truth is so much simpler than that: No fear, only love. The unknown is nothing to fear, it is simply unknown. I can never be alone, because I am a part of the universe. And I am more than good enough, I am perfect in the eyes of my beholder. And loved.

It's a short blog today. That's all I wanted to say.

Getting Clearer

Since early last week, I have been reminded, nudged, prodded and nagged by the Universe to recall something that I had begun to learn about over two years ago: Ho'oponopono. I have written about this ancient Hawaiian healing technique a couple of times in recent blogs, mainly because – again – the Universe has been "on my back" about it. I began to do a little research on the information I had picked up on two years ago, and of course in response The Universe provided me with just what I needed, exactly when I needed it.

Dr. Joe Vitale, the man who introduced me to the concept of Ho'oponopono, had apparently also been touched upon by the Universe, and has consented to produce three online  videos of the very last Ho'oponopono training he conducted with the man that he learned from, Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len (and share them completely free!). I watched the second of the free series this morning, and I sure got a lot out of it. I was inspired to share some of this wisdom with you.

In its infinite wisdom, God, The Divine, The Universe, whatever you want to call oneness, allows us opportunities to clean our old programming, whether it is there from our learning during this lifetime, or carried over from something else. Dr Hew Len believes that The Divine gives us rebirth in several lifetimes to clean old programming from other lifetimes to return to the zero state, allowing us to reunite with The Universe.

Memories themselves are nothing more than negative energy, because all things are energy. We carry this negative energy with us at all times, manifesting itself in various ways: anger, overeating, overwhelming sadness; even manifesting itself as various diseases and cancers.

By using the various Ho'oponopono techniques, we are finally able to become unblocked, thereby getting back to the Zero State, which allows for a direct reconnection with The Divine.

Jesus once said, "Love your neighbor as yourself." Using Ho'oponopono, this commandment makes perfect sense. Everything that you see "out there" is co-created by you and your neighbor. So if your neighbor is having troubles, consequently because you are aware of it, it is your job to clean what you have co-created. So you send love to that part of you that has created this problem, sending it to The Divine. Remember the first part of that bible quote: Love God (The Divine) with all of your heart. Secondly, love your neighbor as yourself. This is not to suggesting that you only love your neighbor; what it's actually saying is you should love yourself – as your neighbor! We have had it backwards most of our lives. In order to return to a state of zero, you must remove all negative energies – including those co-created by you and your neighbor.
